Andy studied at Bath Academy of Art, and has become increasingly interested in
simple, abstract, physical qualities such as rhythm, colour and balance.
His work is largely inspired by the subtle and changing qualities of the landscape, and
by how they reflect and impact upon a more personal and spiritual inner landscape.
He continues to express these themes through various media, resulting in beautiful,
sensitive works that, through their colour and rhythm and through the simplicity of
their pared-down form activate the surrounding space and carry a deep meditative
resonance. Andy’s work creates a sense of mystery, serenity and intimacy, inviting the
viewer to quiet introspection.
