Labyrinths and Mazes
Steve created two presentations to introduce the material
on which the projects were based.
Presentation 1:
Labyrinths and Mazes
This presentation explains the difference between a
labyrinth and a maze and shows lots of examples of both.

Presentation 2:
The story of Theseus and the Minotaur
This presentation tells the story of Theseus and how he
killed the Minotaur in the labyrinth around 1300 BC. It
uses illustrations from contemporary sources (such as
vase paintings), from more recent European art and recent
photography. The story is fairly grisly in places, but it is
told quite simply.
Other stories come out of this presentation, such as
Daedelus and Icarus, and Ariadne on the island of Naxos.
