Project 1:
Green Harlow

Tany Dell This project resulted in a three-dimensional sculpture being created from a two-dimensional base plan by Violet Class (Year 6), using scale and proportion.

This project involved the children in building a scale model of the school and other buildings in the local surroundings. Linked opportunities for discussions relating to shapes and nets then followed. Practical applications of ratio and proportion, using scales and measures, formed part of the food preparations for the private view.
